One of the few manga adaptations where the anime actually looks very significantly better. (Not talking about Crystal of course, which looks like utter dogshit. I get that it was trying to be more faithful to the manga, but some art styles just don't translate well to animation.)
I don't understand how the anime form 25 years ago looks so much better. Did they lose the information to make it look decent or improve at all? It doesn't make any sense.

Classic was what I grew up with and fell in love with so it's top-tier in my heart. Crystal makes me upset, to be honest. I hate watching it because it all feels so wrong but... the plot isn't bad. I haven't read the manga yet but I'd rather read all those issues over watching Crystal.
