While the OsoChoro CD was amusing in its own way I have to say that I preferred the OsoIchi one since it took place within the Matsu reality we're all familiar with. The Matsus working odd jobs is a great concept and the possibilities are endless but they're not really doing anything with it. It is just boring fanservice given to us by pale imitations of the Matsus, another shitty AU skit. As it stands the CDs are about as funny as the show's low tier skits.
I'd have preferred a series of CDs with all of the Matsus working in an office environment together or something, all of them working in showbiz. These CDs just do not work when taking two characters in isolation, whoever is in charge of the writing is doing a terrible job.
AU or not, there's very little chance that Ichi will explain why he hates his older brother.

That's like asking if shounen jump is aimed at young boys or fujos.
Something can have 1 target demographic and then have a 2nd demographic. Shounen Jump realized this years ago, which is why they changed up their character designs, in general.
Think of it like Sailor Moon or the new My Little Pony. It's target is young girls, but it's older male fanbase is pretty sizable. So much so I think it's mainly targeting them. It's not as if Sailor Moon was targeting males so much that it just kind of happened, because it has elements that appeal to that fanbase.

That being said, it's not as it Osomatsu-kun was just targeted towards girls. It was mainly children and adults at the time which is why they made them adults in the remake. Though, the director is no stranger to fujoshi as he did work on Gitama which is also featured in Shounen Jump so go figure.

That's funny since in the later arcs Choro finally admitted to wanting to be a NEET and that he wasn't even really interested in getting a job even though he was shown to looking for one and nagging everyone that they should get one for more than 50% of the show.
Maybe Choro genuinely believed that doing things was right, but it doesn't mean that he wanted to do them. How is that any different than someone being nice, because they like the way it makes then look? Choro was doing the same thing.

The first track that everyone here dislikes seems to be about the 卑屈事件 (subservient incident/case). Ichimatsu's character description uses the term 卑屈 (subservient/abject), so I'm interpreting it as putting Ichimatsu's subservience/abjectness on trial. Kara is gonna "open his closed heart" and ask him questions, and Ichi is apparently gonna have to be honest. It sounds like it could be fun to me.

This is almost Osomatu-san's credo, though. They love pandering to the fans/jumping on popular fan theories (no doubt ones they anticipated would crop up way, way at the outset), but they're always rendered in ways nobody expects.
Like Sanematsu was the edgy "what if OSO WAS REALLY HALLUCINATING ALL HIS BROTHERS" theory, Kamimatsu was "what if there was a 7th brother" and so on, Joshimatsu is "what if they were all girls" and so on.

It's wonderful. My only real complaint about Joshimatsu was how they repeated the "intro" sequence a few times. Lazy bastards. I see you saving yourself 1 ~ 1 1/2 minutes of animation.
I love how Nakamura admitted to having immense trouble voicing Karako and just ending up using Karamatsu's/his voice pretty much exactly. During the skits, my brain didn't even question the hyper-masculine voice coming out of her.
And FukuJun's "girl" voice is too good.
