What happened to Orchestr/a/?
I wanted to see how the second album was coming along, but it seems there haven't been any threads about it in a while.
Did the project die?
>>140576703
We're still working on it. We only make threads when we have something new to show, but people aren't recording because they're lazy faggots.
probably died
>>140576703
Just wait anon, we have enough material for the second album alreadybut our drawfag won't draw, /r/ing drawfags ;_;
>>140578431

also is the VN cover not good enough?
>>140576703
Sorry guys, I've been working on my masters and grading exams for the past few weeks. I haven't even trimmed my nails for a month. Everything should settle down a bit from now on though.
Has anyone done the thing from Aria? If not then I'll do it.
>>140576703
This is a low-activity period due to a good majority of our members being preoccupied with school and other shit. It happened last year too, but hey, we still managed to put out our first album in June.
To anyone in this thread, if you'd like to help us out, here's our current works in progress: http://pastebin.com/pr0L7AEfAlso acid-kun and PGA, if you're out there, just know that we love you and want you to come back soon :3

The album is somewhat on schedule. It'll probably be released at the same time as the last one.

What type of shit are you guys looking for for the 2nd album cover?
>>140589205
This is what our old drawfag left us with https://a.pomf.cat/nslxgb.jpg
>>140589205
the current title is:
I Record a Terrible Album of Anime Songs for a Cute Girl in My Class but She Loves It and Forces Me to Make Another While Holding a Gun to My Head?!
so anything that works with that title is fine
>>140589552
What's the abbreviation for this VN/album?
>>140590878
We'd prefer it if the entire name was on there, there isn't one as far as I know

I miss Nodame
>>140591364
I do too anon... Really sparked my interest for classical and now it's one of the main things I listen to.
Also, is there a group or something to check when everything is done and to be released, don't want to miss hearing you /a/nons play.
>>140591744
Most of the time we'll upload it here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcDfv0bFBkxJsTIr7VejNRA
>>140591744
You could subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcDfv0bFBkxJsTIr7VejNRA
We upload mixes there as soon as they're finished. If you feel like shitposting with us on a daily basis, however, you can join our pad https://titanpad.com/orchestra2
>>140591744
I was already an exclusive classical (western art music) listener before I watched Nodame. I loved it because it actually had well-rounded drama and it's also pretty funny.
Also the mangaka is pretty good at drawing instrument playing and that's not very common.
>>140592077
It took me a solid week to sort through the entire OST of the song. I have like 300 tracks in my music library and I love it. Also went to my local library and checked out all the classical cds. Love me some Bach and chopin
>>140592038
Titanpad? More like titanicpadGet it? Because it constantly crashes
>>140592038
I wish I could help out and record but I have [spolier]Tourettes and MS[/spoiler] and I tried to learn piano but it was too hard..
>>140592241
Which Bach?
>>140592027
Thank you!
>>140592317
Don't sell yourself short, anon. We have someone who is literally dying helping us out.
>>140592363
Johann Sebastian Bach my good man.
>>140592317
You could always record hand claps and random people noises for Komm, süßer Tod
>>140592446
I only really just started... Have like three months of practice anon. I'm really trash at it and had to give my family back the piano sadly.
>>140592507
Of course. No one ever talks about any of his sons
>>140592586
Wanna link me some good stuff or tell me what to look up? Always looking for more classical. I asked people awhile ago what to look into and this is the list I have so far.

Waste of time.
Anyways I've been pretty big on CPE lately, even though he's classical scum

Just what people recommenced to me, really new to classical honestly only been a huge fan for like 3ish years. Always loved piano/violin so when there is duets with the two I'm a happy man.
>>140593077
It's best to look around yourself and develop your own tastes. Glenn Gould is literally a meme at this point.
>>140593077
Also I apparently linked the wrong thing in >>140592895. Here's another CPE

>>140593161
Why's that? He the SAO of classical recordings or? Like I said earlier, just been getting CDs at my library and expanding slowly but surely.

Debussy is one of my all time favourites. Beautiful pieces, I'll listen to the other ones you linked. thanks
>>140593336
I haven't gotten around to listening to him yet but I'll avoid him all together.
>>140593240
>Impressionists
>>140593378
Same guy but there isn't a pastebin for classical or anything is there? Just to experience various artists.
>>140593429
/classical/ pls go
>>140593511
I'd tell you to go to /mu/'s /classical/ general but there are way to many memes there. It's too dangerous for a beginner.
>>140593573
I listen to classical daily but I go to that thread sometimes and have no idea what the fuck is going on.
>>140593573
I'd be scared to... Havent gone to /mu/ in years. In the last year 30s-70s and classical music has taken over my music library. All my friends look at me and tell me it's weird for me to like this music since I'm only 20 but good music is good music.
Jazz>Classical
>>140593893
Just discovered this group literally minutes ago anon. I go to a jazz house every other Friday night in town.
https://youtu.be/hK_9otl3sZ0?t=11
>>140593872
I know how you feel anon. I struggled with that too growing up. Now I've gone from primarily listening to classical music to primarily listening to weeaboo music, so I guess I was doomed to be a musical outcast
>>140593893
good man
>>140593872
>le wrong generation
>>140593856
It's all memes. Unless you're well-versed in history of music and music theory you won't get anything there,
>>140593992
I have around like 6k songs in my music library, probably half is jap, rest is 30s-70s,classical, jazz, rap,etc no country cause I could never get into it.
>>140594071
I wouldn't say that, just appreciating music from the ages.
>>140594071
I just wish we didn't live in a generation where the average person listens to jungle beats exclusively.
