Re:Zero still has the potential to surpass Sakamoto, and that's going to be especially true if Sakamoto runs out of ideas or becomes too hit and miss, and/or if Re:Zero avoids turning into a boring harem and instead takes a much darker psychological path.

I actually liked Kill La Kill so as long as it cleared this already low bar I'd be satisfied.
But it didn't. Oh god, it didn't.
In a nutshell, I wanted Trigger, and what I got was Shaft without most the things that make Shaft good.
