I didn't play DAN yet but The OST is one of the best things I've ever heard. It's just annoying I have to buy the Japanese version when I love JYB as Adachi so much. It's not the kind of game I'd buy until it's cheap though. But I like rhythm games anyway.

JYB impressed me the most with Persona 4. I mean I'm usually talented with recognizing voice and intonation, but it's only when I looked it up on the internet that I learned he had done Yu AND Adachi. It's quite a feat imo. Using the same actor for the main protagonists and antagonists was quite symbolic, given the story, and it worked perfectly, I love Adachi's voice
Revy and chingchong hag from Black Lagoon were better dubbed than the original

Adachi's voice was so well done. He really did a good job with the two sides of him. He brought Adachi to life and really made him come off innocent then really creepy.
I like persona 3's dub too but Yuri Lawrenthawl or whatever his name is didn't do the best job with Ryoji especially when compared to JYB. Yuri was better as Yosuke anyway.
I actually had the chance to meet JYB and saw his band perform. He's a cool guy and he said recording all the persona names too a god awful amount of time. Was a weird moment meeting the voice behind so many characters I grew up with.

Speaking of Lee, I find her better whenever she dubs for Yumi Takada. See Saori Shikijo (Mahoromatic) and Hatsuho Kazami (Please Teacher).
In fact, the English dubs of both shows come off better and more memorable in general.
Also, another dub I find better than Japanese audio is Dorothy Elias-Fahn as Kaoru Kamiya in the Rurouni Kenshin anime.

I have no idea if you are talking about the games or anime but in everything where both of them actually talk it's painfully obvious it's just JYB having a conversation with himself. They both had much better voices in Japanese. The jump between Madono's goofball and threatening voice was much more impressive than JYB's where it barely made any difference. JYB's Yu sounded like he was constantly suppressing his ADHD, Namikawa's version actually sounded calm, as he was supposed to be. Atlus USA didn't give them the same VA to make it symbolic but because they're cheap fucks. In Japanese version Yu and Gas Station Attendant had the same VA, similar to how Ryoji and MC were voiced by Yuri.
