Nami showed her motherly instincts with wanting to protect the kids on Punk Hazard.
Sanji saved Kinemon (a male of all things) and can use his haki to sense the tears of women (Tashigi and Violet).
Zoro is doing more first mate things like telling Luffy to be more serious. Enjoying going with Luffys antics when Luffy carries him, not letting Pica go anywhere near his captain.
Choppers development was also with the Punk Hazard children, and also the Minks. Proving his doctor prowess and empathetic nature. He's also willing to become more of a monster just for Luffy now, something that hated being in the past.
Brook is demonstrating more loyalty, hell he ditched his music career for the Strawhats. His love of art saved them from Jora and it showed his quick wits.
Usopp is being more true to himself, against Trebol and Sugar he loudly exclaimed he was the sniper of the Strawhat pirates, he didn't lie about being the captain or Sogeking. That's also why he developed haki since according to Rayleigh's quote on haki, the act of not doubting is a form of strength. Therefore one can interpret Usopp hiding behinds Sogekings mask as a form of doubt, and because h didn't use it this time he developed observation haki.

Kaido just dropped down from the sky in front of a bunch of people he doesn't know. He had no reason to start interrogating them.

War arcs suck. Too many characters, barely any plot progression, no proper fleshed out fights and only small clashes.
