People saying Hades was a bro. Hades was like fucking Cthulu and Eldtritch abomination kind of guy. He may have been a good guy but he didn't look alluring. Nope. For today's standards it's pretty much dark, depressing and with large body counts. On the other hand there were multiple versions of the same myth, so even these ranged from depressing to bittersweet. And even less of them had something of a happy ending.
And the best part? The least dickish Greek God was Hades because a) he sat almost the whole time in the Underworld and b) wasn't interested in mortal affairs all the time (or to be precise: the least barring some exceptions).
Roman versions are more lighthearted instead.
