Sad to see it end. I think it was obvious all along that there wouldn't be any real romantic development, although the story makes it obvious that Moyako would immediately say yes to Akira if he were to make a serious move.
It was nice seeing how deep their bond is and how it continued to grow throughout the story. I'll miss the Konoe siblings.

I don't remember if anything about the father was mentioned before. But if they are half siblings maybe that explains the different eye color between Akira and Moyako in the beginning. But then I've seen Akira's eye color change to blue then to brown again and finally to blue until the end a few times. Maybe it was just an inconsistency error.
