It's not even impressive quality it's just okayish/good but it's so much better than the rest of the episode/series that hypes you up a bit.

Conjecture: Kaioken works differrntly with God Ki.
Kaioken, instead of being a 1.5x multiplier, is now a 10% boost. Kaioken x2 is now a 20% boost, and so on.
So, Kaioken x10 is now a +100% boost when using God Ki; or a 2x boost.
Meaning, Goku goes from a 6 to Beerus' 10, to a 12.
This is a perfect way to keep Goku from being stronger than Whis, while still explaining its power boost. Being 20% stronger than Beerus still wouldn't be enough to defeat him, if it's only in small bursts.

Using kaioken during a transformation has been literally the entire series since the Namek arc. He uses it for short bursts when he attacks or defends, every single time. Why is going kaioken now such a giant fucking revelation when he's been doing it all the time anyway?

Was SSJ2 just an angrier version of SSJ? At first it was a Gohan only thing in the Cell Saga, but the difference between Goku SSJ1 and Goku SSJ2 isn't very big in their look.
