1. Kabaneri, popcorn action thriller about steam punk samurai and zombies, really great characters and amazing fight scenes. So long as the plot is straight forward this will easily continue to be the most enjoyable watch this season.
2. Memeyoiga, the memes keep me going
3. Boku no Hero, it's by no memes a "better shounen", but it's enjoyable enough.
4. Re: Zero, i know it's only saving grace is the edgy ways they kill the main character and that it's a pretty shitty LN other wise, but it's still fun to watch. nice fights.

My absolute favorite shows this season are Flying Witch and Kumamiko.
I'm also finding Sansha Sanyou, Bakuon!!, Anne Happy, and Macross Delta very enjoyable so far.
Hai Furi is good as well.
Haven't dropped anything yet, but I'd say Netoge and Tanaka-kun could potentially be dropped depending on further episodes.

Couldn't get into 12-sai and Tanaka was 3gay5me.
-Uchuu Patrol Luluco. Surprisingly okay. Good music and designs, just the right length. Trigger should stick to shorts.
-Mayoiga. Dumb fun.
-Joker Game. Seems okay so far but it has potential if it lays the intrigue on thick.
-Kuma Miko. I love the art style, the concept, and the bear's voice is perfect, but the jokes and bits of lewd really aren't working for me. Will tentatively keep watching, but I guess I just expected it to be more comfy. At least the ED is cute.
-Kiznaiver. The direction seems okay but the writing and characters suck so far. I'll give it a few more episodes because it feels like we're still in the setup stage.
-Big Order. Mirai Nikki was a guilty pleasure so hopefully this is a fun trainwreck.
-Kabaneri. Wary of the shounen aspects but it's entertaining enough as a popcorn zombie anime.
-Bungo Stray Dogs. It's okay. I'll wait a few more episodes before deciding.
-Boku no Hero Academia. Looks nice but has no other redeeming features. Will stick around for Matsumoto's episode and then probably drop it.
-Sakamoto desu ga? Sakamoto is so cool. This would probably work better as a short though.
Still planning to watch Flying Witch and Bakuon. Haven't dropped anything yet.
Overall, this season seems less terrible than others but nothing stands out as especially good so far either. The only thing I feel excited for is the Kekkai OVA in June. Maybe this is one of those seasons where a hidden gem pops up towards the end.

Thought I was going to like Big Order after seeing the intro, then it all started falling apart as the episode went on. When it gave away what his wish was and how it worked by the end of the first episode, meaning it would be a straight fantasy action instead of mystery, I deleted it. I usually keep whatever episodes of shows I don't like so I can seed. But nobody deserves to be subjected to this shit.
I don't think I've really dropped anything yet out of about 18 shows. Lots of shows I like I don't really see a possibility of becoming bad, like Bakuon, DJ Tonkatsu or Flying Witch.
Others like Mayoiga and Haifuri I don't think I could stop watching even if they became terrible, because of a combination of their having good hooks to keep going and the characters are entertaining in some way.

Nothing about episode 1 struck me as interesting. Off the bat the world is ripped straight from Attack on Titan with trains added in the mix. Characters were one-dimensional and will most likely remain that way and for a show that wants to seem serious dramatic it pisses all that away by adding in a loli character who'll be over-powered for no reason along giving us a "genius" MC who'll most likely only be seen as intelligent when compared to how stupid the rest of the cast are. It looks good but that's about it.

Just watched episode 2 and I'm not sure what to think about it. It's obviously not good enough to provide any sort of quality commentary on the human condition, but maybe that's not the right way to approach the show. Finishing it was a chore though so I tend towards thinking it's bad.

Because like most LN authors, this one is also an idiot. They take grand and ridiculous premises to hook readers, but they can't write characters or plot progression to save their lives. If he could write a smart and competent MC, he'd have to give him tricky situations to solve with quick thinking and wit, and some serious planning skills as opposed to just giving him surface level qualities (he's an otaku who's in shape) that define how he navigates challenge. He's too stupid to write that, so he just piles suffering on the MC in the hopes that some people will think it's a good series. Sadly, this words on some people.

It's because he's not a believable character to me. He's so weird that he shatters my suspension of disbelief because nobody would ever act the way he does. I can't get behind the idea of super fit NEET who can hold his own in a melee fight with magical fantasy people who talks like an overconfident weirdo and expresses knowledge of story and game tropes but lacks any shred of cunning or basic awareness of his own situation. He seems to be made up of contradictions.
Also I can't stand the way he talks. Constantly referencing previous timelines, making terrible meta jokes in inappropriate situations to people who would obviously never understand him, and basically interacting as if he's viewing himself from the perspective of a reader of his own story. I don't get what everybody's gripes about this is. I love the pacing. It's well-paced. I tried reading the manga for spoilers, but dropped it after the second chapter after realizing how quickly it was going. It's originally a light novel and I want the story to unfold in a satisfying way, and that's what the anime is doing. Yes, the plot is fairly predictable, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. The only major gripe I have is the shadow censorship.
