It's from one of old material books for tsukihime, that was released with PLUS-DISC (even before release of Kagetsu Tohya). And includes Background info on characters, Takeuchi's "Clowick Canaan-Vail" and Nasu's "Notes". Regarding Tsukihime itself, there is even many rought draft from Takeuchi that eventually were not even included in final game and ended cut or rewritten. This is rought cut that was originally planned for original Hisui route, but was cut and eventually rewritten into Flower of Thanatos. Although I don't know how exactly it should worked, is safe to say, that one of original endings for Hisui was more less Flowers of Thanatos, just not dream but reality. For example girl on bottom right seems to not be even Kohaku or Hisui anymore, but simple mindfused Thanatos of one of them. Although with translation of that book it maybe could say more precisely.

Nothing short of death will ever change this guy, he refuses to ever learn a lesson, but in a different way from Shirou.

SHIKI is a bro. When Shiki got "adopted," SHIKI was the only one besides Hisui that reached out to him. SHIKI is the only reason Akiha and Shiki even consider themselves family, and it's because he made Shiki get involved in all their playing.
Remember, SHIKI doesn't even know who Shiki is in far side when he's trying to kill him, at least not until Akiha's path. He's been driven so insane by imprisonment, his father's punishment, and Kohaku's manipulations that he isn't even aware of who the impostor is that replaced him until it's too late.

I feel sorry for Ciel. She feels almost superflous, like she was never meant to be a main character, or she was added in too late. And she doesn;t do very much, if her route was changed, or if she was given more development she might have had a greater impact. I mean, even in Kagetsu Tohya she gets very little. Compare that to Fate H/A, which gives a lot of attention to the lesser heroines of that series and fleshes them out a lot more.
