LL isn't even being that milked to death compared to other things like Fate, Monogatari, Gundam iDOLM@STER etc. It's had 2 TV seasons, 1 movie, and had a new single maybe every few months from 2013 to 2015. In terms of merchandising whoring though it's said to have had an economic effect of as much as a trillion yen. Still compare that to iDOLM@STERs often weekly releases or that there seems to be a new Fate series every year or so now similar to Gundam and it's maybe on the middle end of milking.

This is what's making anime shitty for the rest of us that just kind of want something fresh once in a while. Because it's so much easier to just crap out an entry certain genres or franchises producers just want to go after those believers groups over and over and over again which leaves us with a lot of samey bullshit and flat out clones of series that were popular maybe 5 years ago pretty much every season.
