I think it just would've been better if Kayo was with no one. Like they could've made it to where like Satoru loses all his memories and everyone tries to stop Kayo from seeing him, but he's like a detective now so she just muscles her way through. Sneaks Satoru out and takes him to the tree and when he ask what it is. She says a Christmas tree and he replies with "baka nano". Which then he get all him memories back. He turns over to her tell her she's his hero. She blushes and tell herself "calm down he's only 11"
