I'm really underwhelmed. The plot was so convoluted and relied heavily on word play to set up the mystery. Then the last arc wasn't even about the murders but about a subplot they introduced later.

One of the biggest gripes I have is withKanon being incorporated into Yasu. If it had just been Beatrice and Shannon, everything would have fit nicely. But they had to involve the plot with Battler escaping the closed room and then Kanon dying after as well as the couple challenges for love. More than 2 personalities just felt too much to get away with.

I was more upset by the murders never getting an explanation. That bullshit was just extra bullshit on top of a mountain of bullshit.
I think I like it better the way it is because the story still feels mysterious after I read it. So much for 'answer' arcs. Very few stories that I can read and not feel like they ended after I finished reading them.
I guess thats the good part about fanfiction.

To be fair, they weren't all solved in EP 7. You just have enough information to tell who the culprit is but it doesn't explain how the murders were carried out. In fact, it's really annoying how in some murders some tricks cannot be used due to the red but then these exact tricks are the answers to other murders like entering through windows.
