God Eater was a good adaption in all regards though. Nice art, nice animation, nice sound, good voices, nice characters. They even threw in some anime original backstory which made you feel for the MC a little more.

I thought it looked pretty good outside of the aliasing on the line art as the other anon said, especially compared to most TV anime. They fixed a fair amount on the BDs too. The visuals were probably the main thing going for it, so I'm not sure what OP is on about.
