I feel like Vegeta would kill Hit with little difficulty in an un-ringed rematch. Vegeta is a soldier not a duelist. He usually fights with long ranged ki-blasts to which Hit has little way of responding to. If Vegeta would bring back his old brutal ways, only Whis, Beerus, Champa, and Vados would be able to stop him.
Goku, on the other hand, is a duelist who utilizes smart close combat techniques to out-maneuver his opponent. I think Vegeta has Goku beat in terms of sheer power right now.

In dbz during the sayain arc, specifically during the vegeta vs goku fight, krilin asks them to move and fight somewhere else as to not damage the bodies of their fallen comrades, because they wouldn't appreciate that once they were revived by the dragon balls. Well, they do. They have to, because mass = energy. The more energy the more mass. A fat guy with a powerlevel of 100 can only dream of lifting a skinny guy with a powerlevel of 1000. Actual Dragon Ball doesn't work like in Xenoverse, where low-level Saibamen can still damage high power-level characters. It's basically a rule of shonen and probably just fiction in general: Give a character an absurdly OP ability, but introduce him long before the main villain even fights....and he will get defeated quite embarrassingly.
