I really want to see more current-day Gainax anime. They haven't made anything spectacular lately, but they also haven't made anything cringe-inducingly bad.
I'll admit I haven't seen Medaka Box and have no plans to, but their most recent two have been nice to watch.
C3-bu was actually pretty good if you forget about the stupid magic bullshit and the last episode (which I enjoyed but really had no place being anything more than a special).
Pleiades wasn't bad either. While it didn't bring anything necessarily new or exciting to the table it was still a perfectly enjoyable, steady ride.
It's a shame they both flopped.
