Only if it's their money they're getting, and nothing else. Lots of good shows barely have the time or budget to look good for a mere 12 episodes. Those big fat American burger dollars will help in that regard, and get us more shows with Space Dandy level of animation quality. However we've already seen Funi cut corners with Dimension W looking like ass in its final couple episodes.
You want to hope that it means less shows that never needed harem or self-insert aspects to them not needing to go down that path in order to sell, but you have to fear what a foreign influence can do in other areas. As anime inevitably expands, both fans and directors need to become more weary of producers.
