The Green jacket series is objectively the best series. It has the best episodes and is the most consistent in having great episodes. Episodes 13-23 alone is literally GOAT. Also Green Jacket is best Jacet, but we all already knew that
2nd place is Blue Jacket series. It has a bunch of really great episodes. It's almost as good as Green Jacket, but not quite. It's also more of the tone of red jacket.
3rd place is Red jacket. Probably the most well known series. There are 155 episodes that are honestly hit or miss, but there are a lot of good episodes and is always a fun watch
Pink Jacket is in last place but it's not bad. It's almost the same as red jacket but a different art style and animation. It's more cartoony and slapstick like red jacket. It just doesnt have the same charm or popularity like red jacket so it has to be last.

Gold Babylon. It's the oldest one of the bunch and is pretty fun. Might as well get it out of the way. The story doesnt make sense at times but it's so colorful and great. I just love it.
I'd say watch them in chronological order. Missed by a Dollar is one of my personal favorites, and a lot of people seem to love first contact. Green Vs Red was an interesting film that really celebrates the history of Lupin. Bye Bye Liberty wasnt anything special. Once again though, I looooove Missed by a dollar. Lupin is so fucking charming and charismatic in it.

you know what. I take that back. It is a great Lupin movie. If you remember, it takes place 10 years later. He's older, wiser, and more mature. He's not as reckless anymore. He's grown to really give a shit about people. He's gotten pretty bored with the mundane heists and felt like he needed to stop Cagliostro from producing goat bills which is something he's tried as a over-confident snobby thief. while also trying to save a cute girl which is something he would do anyway, but now he's not as flirtatious. Yeah I know that sounds not as fun and a younger crazier Lupin might more interesting, but it's actually quite beautiful how he's grown up. That's perhaps the highest quality of character development.

There are 14 original english volumes that were released.
I'd say just start with volume one. Each chapter is it's own story. Very episodic like all the anime series. Pretty great fun stuff. If you love A Lupin that kills, rapes and has hilarious one liners, you'll love the manga.
I dont know if the scans are online. The books are out of print and are over 12 years old, but volumes one and 2 are still real cheap and easy to find online. There are some books like volume 3 that is like $40 on amazon but I got it on ebay for like $8 a few months back so you may wanna use that. I have all the volumes. The hardest one to get is volume 13. it goes for no less than $100. I bought them as a set so I got a great deal.

The Red one has accessories that are a little cooler but both are great, The Green jacket figure is better with better headsculpts, If I could keep only one of them, I'd keep the Green one, but it's much more expensive than the Red one, so I guess if you dont have the money, get Red, but I suggest get the green one before the price goes even higher.

There's really nothing that surprising about it when you consider the history 'Murrica has with anime, particularly on television.
I'm twelve episodes into red jacket and I want to know when it gets more consistently good. So far, the only episodes I've enjoyed were seven, eight, and nine. The rest really bug me because Lupin and Zenigata now feel like idiots and almost every episode has ended with Lupin losing for awful reasons. I love the music and art and all of that and I really want to like it but it's just been sort of annoying to watch.
