IRC trolls were too successful. Think about it, "reddit" like plenty of shows that /a/ liked before. That is never a problem, but trolls made blow the whole thing out of proportion and kept hammering it down that made threads ended up in flames for weeks. The the damage has been done so it can't be helped. It's really a shame since before that shit happened, NGNL was the closest thing we had to Mondaiji season 2, and a lot of /a/ saw that and had fun with it, minimum trolling notwithstanding.

I liked ngnl but I don't think it's anywhere close to mondaji. That's the first time I've even seen this comparison beyond the concepts. I also think it's a mixed bag of a show it's entertaining but there are a lot of things wrong with the show and can understand why people didn't like it.

She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
