Those two like each other since years before, he rejects her with flimsy reasons to choose the other girl over her besides the obvious metanarrative reason of being the other protagonist, because in the end everything devolves to the Author enforcing the original plot he envisioned against characters and events that he himself designed.

No. She tried to confess twice. There's the time you just posted. The second time Raku was passed out and she knew he was, but confessed to his unconscious body, so that ahrdly counts. And now, the most recent, where she finally confessed because she has no other choice.
Onodera has never made an actual attempt to win Raku over. She's been helped countless times by Ruri, Haru, and her own mother, who all set up scenarios for her to make moves that she plainly refused to make.
She doesn't deserve to be rewarded for being a fucking idiot who made zero effort to get what she wants.

That will probably never be adressed. At most a page with a panel for each losers starring at the sky or whatever and the end like every shonen. It's too bad because from a writing perspective there is a lot to do in the aftermath, but they only explore the pre-relationship romance, never the established ongoing one. Another option would be more than one winner, but it's rare. (pic related)

Nothing, I dropped it and never read this series, just get the low down off skimming threads. It found the shittiest reasons to block character development a while ago, not even to comedic effect, just as a tool to keep the series alive.
In the final run it remains as cliche and formulaic to its core, butchering everything interesting about the story while only saving the characters, to serve them on a chopping block since it went with a retard MC approach till the final moment.
This thing will end with a kiss and sky panel for sure, just to really drill it in that you shouldn't have expectations in Japanese stories anymore.
