It'd be different if he was the one who rescued her, but the manga is more about the MC becoming a guardian of youkai instead of about his "harem". Like, the cat girl and the loli -- he's probably never going to romance them, but he will protect them. Rokka and Hime have reasons to lust after him, though, and the maid may in time since he's trying so damn hard.
I like the manga for that, though. Most harems, the MC is just a pussy magnet inexplicably while here it takes him time to even get two pussies. That's fine. It makes sense.
