That's a typesetter.
Cleaner is the one who levels the picture, straighten it and deletes the japanese text.
Redrawer is the one who restores the art in the blank spaces left by the deleted texts.
Typesetter is the one who types the translated text and chooses the appropiate fonts for each situation.
But truth to be told, dividing the work so much is inneficient as hell, and one person should do all of the previously mentioned.

here's my pitch:
Made In Abyss.
A true fantasy manga that evokes a feeling of adventure no one was able to make for a long time. Set in a world where the only unexplored region is an enormous hole of unknown depth in the middle of an island, the Abyss. For two thousand years, humans have tried to brave the Abyss, and are slowly progressing, using the artifacts found there. However, there is a catch: once you get past a certainl level, you cannot go back due to a depth sickness unique to Abyss.
Protagonist is a little girl whos mother left adventuring. She lives in an orphanage and works as an Abyss delver/ragpicker. She dreams of following in her mother's steps. One day, during her delver training she is attacked by a vicious creature, but is saved by a mechanized boy. When she finds him, he has already out of power. Next time the boy opens his eyes he cannot remember who he is. There are no known sentient robots in that world, so his case is unique. Which means he is from the Abyss. Which makes him one of the rarest artifacts found ever. And since he was able to come back from the abyss means he is the only known person on whom the "return disease" doesn't work.
Cutesy design is only a mask. No magic here, only the engineering based around some artifacts(which usually have realistic background). No one is overpowered. And the dark stuff will happen, berserk-level, as many readers reported.
Currently helping to retranslate the first chapters with the original typesetter, but at my pace, it's gonna be very slow. At any rate, i will probably have to stop after the first volume. The language here is definetly not easy compared to many seinen manga. It would've been a bit different deal if i knew more than 200 kanji, but still, the "not easy" sentences are sound more like literature than manga.
4th volume is coming out this month.
If you know Japanese, please check it out. Otherwise, wait until we re-release the first chapters, or you'll be sorry.
