The fact that this is a very common occurrence shows how bad the majority of posters on this board nowadays. Do any of you actually enjoy anime or do you just watch it so you can have an excuse to shitpost here?

backlog stuff is usually fun , even then it usually just ends up being watched so I have a reason to post.
Now that I think about it, all the shitposters were right, there really is few anime that's actually consistently good throughout it's entire run. Too much shit hits a plateau where it gets stale and just drops into nothing and at that point you have to power through until you get to the climax or to a point where it's fun again, or if you don't have much willpower or patience you just leave it open until you either get REALLY bored one day, or just forget about it at which point I guess you can say it's dropped.

I kept trying to watch the same episode for hours, kept repeating it for days, and kept pausing at the same spot.
