When we were at 108 in 2013, Nendoroids were still 2900 yen and figma were still 3800. There was a huge boom of new buyfags when the yen suddenly got a burst of strength. You can see how many new US based stores popped up since then.
Now that a single figma is 5200, these prices are currently 30% more than they were in 2013. Due to shipping costs we are paying a little bit more than Japanese are. The Japanese market has been shrinking since 2013 because of rising costs. It suggests that in the future, unless things change, the US and Chinese markets might stop growing.
At this point it is now cheaper to buy from US sellers and shortly their prices will increase. I hope you've saved your Amiami cancellations and are prepared to order from the jews, because their prices are about to be very competitive if the dollar drops any more.
