It's true that the kisses are the show.
But it's also true the timing is awful, the whole writing is awful. Don't you know that the kisses are supposed to be the conclusion of a story, not the beginning? That's why it got so boring and old so fast, if it had ended with a single kiss in the final episode it would have been an awesome story.
