Fate/Nasuverse is the Japanese Star Wars, it has some interesting and fun things in there and is appealing to a pretty wide audience but there is an astronomical amount of shit too and people are far too invested in it.

Very little Shirou
I'd say it's because F/Z is one cohesive story as opposed to the various route shit that FS/N + UBW + HF pulls. All the masters / servants feel decently fleshed out for much, much less investment then to get the same feeling in FS/N.
Also Shirou is, poetically speaking, really shit most of the time.
As someone who isn't really into the nasuverse, F/Z had a cast of adults with varied motivations and F/SN UBW had a cast of high schoolers.
In F/Z the most interesting cast members are the masters (subjective) who come from a variety of backgrounds but are all driven toward their goals.
F/SN UBW has a cast of masters who are not only almost entirely made up of teenagers, but who are almost entirely from the same high school. What the fuck
