And both Orsted and Perugius both have their reasons to still kill Laplace even if he turned out to be totally harmless.
Say that Laplace/Rudeus ends up being born as Lara or Sieg's son, or grandson, or great-grandson, or great-granddaughter, whatever. Even if Laplace's personality is completely supplanted by Rudeus's, both Orsted and Perugius will still want to kill him. Even if Rudeus agrees to be killed, his parents might not share the same sentiment.
