I was actually starting to like this, their lives and dynamic actually worked a lot without all the drama and facing actualy problems that might arise with growing up, but this last bit of drama, just, fucking destroyed any love i had for this, not that i had much left after the trainwreck.

Why the fuck does he do that? He was doing such a great job showing their daily lifes after he broke up with Asuka, it was an extremely asshole move, but after that i was actually starting to enjoy the whole story dynamic, and he knows how to make the story show some form of realism, even if it was still filled with some gag characters like miss thinks everything is innuendo, and the girl that thought Haruto liked her and misunderstood everything.

I read it out of curiosity yesteday, has 262 chapters. Stars off ok, goes trainwreck, the train had a nuke inside it, radiation wears off, it actually starts to become decent, and then years later the other nuke that was on board the train blows up and fucks everything up, but somehow, everyone turns out ok.
Do not do the same mistake i did, it's not worth the read.

Princess Lucia is for the most part an innocuous piece of fluff. There's practically no drama.
It can be annoying in its own way, but usually not in the same was as Kimi Machi.
It's mostly just played for laughs, but it's got less direction and story too.

I thought the initial falling out with Nanami rendered Haruto unsympathetic be revealing that none of his redeeming qualities were real.
Eba I never really cared for, but always felt she was a bit of a victim of the plot, so that she'd have to make decisions that'd generate drama and extend the story past its natural lifespan.

I only started posting in 2008, so I missed most of the threads, but Suzuka did have some rage(some of the oldest threads in the archive show considerable vitriol towards it).
I think the main rage points were how much of a bitch they thought Suzuka was, especially as the MC always chose her when there were plenty of other options available to him, and the surprise pregnancy ending which seemed to just toss out the athletic aspirations subplot

Her kisses were some of my favorite chapters. I never really liked Eba, so when she did the first kiss, she was definitely my favorite girl until Akari came into the picture.
Worst chapters were the one's about Eba's family, that shitty mangaka, and other Eba-related shit. Despite all the things that made me angry about the series, I for some reason still feel fond about it. Maybe it's just the Stockholm syndrome speaking.
Seo has decent premises, and for the most part his initial characters are likable and very hot, but it's like he likes to sabotage himself and let's it all go for cheap shock value and twists.
The beginning romance stuff with Kanzaki and Eba was nice and entertaining, and he still coulld have just introduced girls along the way for hijinks. Fuuka started out as a very good love story, but Seo had to fuck that up too. It's not hard to imagine the possibilities his manga could have taken. Who knows, maybe he would ever be popular and notable if he had gone that route, but instead he's more infamous now than anything.
