I thought the ending was fantastic. Maybe bittersweet becausethat entire last chapter seems like an epilogue where everything ends up supper happy just for him to wake up in his room alone, working on what I assume is his next work, but that's what made it fantastic. He isn't giving up, he's taking the first step towards that dream and future he so desperately wants.

Couldn't force myself to read it.
Tried 3 times.
Gave up the first time not feeling into a slice of life.
Tried again and couldn't deal with the suffering of his childhood friend calling him a liar and not seeing her again.
Tried once more and only got a little further, seeing her in a relationship with someone else, completely ignoring him. I just couldn't deal man. I know in my bones it only goes downhill from there.
