As for Kyouko, besides that same fag forcing that shit you generally never saw people dissing her much. Only Chinatsu and Chizuru got a lot of hate over the years, and Chitose wasn't anywhere near unanimously liked in S1 either because some episodes she had like 30 instances of "take off glasses, yurivision, nosebleed" and that shit got old by the 3rd episode.

Look, I'm not going to point out every single difference. It doesn't matter nearly as much as the change in style. It almost DOESN'T matter. Pulling up a random scene, the ending to Akari and Chinatsu's practice date was not resolved quickly. That's something the manga does a lot, ending on quick short gags. In the anime it panned to the sky and the scene was omitted, and it was actually continued in the bonus chapter released with the BDs. In a similar way, the ending to when Kyouko and Ayano went to the movies ended on a "feel good" note, something the anime did continuously.
Something that both matter and stands out, and I personally didn't like, is how they often switched from one scene to another as they were taking place at the same time. It's annoying because the plot isn't engaging or anything. So, there's nothing to latch onto. It just feels so slow.

I guess you could make the argument the genre changed, sorta. I mean, it's still a comedy, even if they made it lean more SoL with all the changes. But the jokes themselves are still completely intact, is what I'm getting at. If they upped something, it's only fair to admit they reduced something else. Even if the jokes are word for word, how they are told matters a lot. Not even the jokes, just the regular interactions. In the anime I find it out of place when a character gets mad or screams, because they are so reserved, but it happens all the time in the manga.
This part in the anime was changed so that Chinatsu is left awkwardly blushing instead of raising her voice like usual. She doesn't even shove Akari aside. It's disgraceful.
