Factually incorrect. Humans are sexually dimorphic creatures and we are wired to find the traits prevalent in the opposite sex attractive and associate it with them. Masculine men are tall, have broad shoulders, large hands (Why do you think yaoi hands are a thing?), etc. Feminine women are short, have wide hips, etc. These aren't even cultural traits like say hair length or clothes, these are physical traits.
Tallness is a masculine trait and shortness is a feminine trait. There's a reason most manlets never lose their virginity, you know.
I do wish there were more legitimately tall women in anime/manga but not so many that it becomes super common.
