Nagisa's death fucked me up so bad that whenever a cute girl dies I get anxiety.
The show itself is pretty good. Some arcs are decent while some are bad. The ending sucked too and the weird intros with the robot are confusing as fuck if you hadn't read the VN.

I liked the way the show was going before the ending, he buried his wife, we got to see him slowly move on and reconnect with his daughter who reminded him too much of his dead wife. The show probably should have ended at that point, instead of killing off Ushio as well, but even then, they could have done the same thing, shown him learning to move on from a second misfortune and find something new to center his life around. Instead they just hit the magic switch and gave him a happy ending just because.
