In Battle of Gods, SSG Goku is able to fight evenly with Beerus, and then in Resurrection of F we find out SSG SSJ is a lot stronger than regular SSG except Whis then says that it would take both Goku and Vegeta in SSG SSJ to be able to take down Beerus, and now we have this weird point where nobody is using SSJ 2 or SSJ 3 and it's implied that ordinary SSJ has become as strong as SSG except that doesn't make any sense either.
