I know it's tough to emphasize with people. Akari was accepting Sumire's Feelings, those complex feelings of utter loss, embarrassment, and disappointment I'm sure she believed with all of her soul she was able to able to get that SA appeal, I believe she is more than capable of doing it too, that grab on her hand was both acknowledgement, that everything was going to be alright. It was also a wish, 'come with me.' Akari took Sumire's pain with her onto that final stage and not only did she succeed in that SA appeal, she also completed her other goal and healed the pain in Sumire's heart as well. This franchise is certainly a gift that keeps on giving, and I couldn't ask for more stunning finale with Calendar Girl as the last farewell song. I was so blown away by the new performance, and the race between Ichigo and Akari with all the main cast involved was such nifty idea to look back all the fun things that started it all, and when Akari whispered that she wanted to have a live concert with her at the end, needless to say she caught up to where she is right now, which sealed their promise to one another. Thank you for everything, Aikatsu. I hope to see you again soon.

Also I find that the part where they run was a lot more meaningful than akari becoming queen or anything else, because it shows how akari finally reached Ichigo's superhuman physical condition.
