How? Just because they know how to play the social game in a match? If there is a villain in this match is the referee who is biased by his own volition. No one bribed him at all.
If you are referring to Yamamoto's accident then I would suggest you see the reaction of the snakes to that vs. the reaction they had with Yaku's injury.
As >>139482387 said, they are very different from other teams so far, and the reactions they are eliciting from both readers and the people in that match is very commendable. This is mostly how a RL team in sports plays, and it is wonderful to see this slice of reality being played in Haikyuu!!
Also it doesn't hurt that they are pretty straightforward with the fact that this (playing up the socal game) is their strategy. They will still need more power than just pressure games in order to win not that it will happen since the result of teh match is obvious. But so far it has been enjoyable.
