nah I have this big home made ulu of sorts, made from an old saw blade, i usually use my my buckknife when doing things like this but the twist of the growth was too deep so I needed something non-folding.
never cut myself with a blade, and that still stands true.
my ring finger idly got part of the tip hooked into the center when it slipped through the wood, bashing my finger tip on the bulk and doing a nice and deep little bleeder, nothing too serious.

I beg you drawfriends, stop using so much stabilization with your pen tools and shit. It makes lines look disgustingly robotic and inorganic in nature, without looking like something like vectoring. It's just a nasty middle road that looks like the lines don't know where to go.
To get the best looking lines, you want your lines to best represent the strokes you take ala traditional style. The stabilization tool circumvents that. If you have terrible looking lines without it, thenjust practice!
