Really, Motobe is the only one promoting weapons out of all of the characters, which makes me curious as to where and how he will ultimately stand against Musashi. Remember how he was talking about seeing his efforts/preserved techniques come to fruition after Retsu's death to Musashi's actual sword? Perhaps he wants to finish Niten Ichiryuu himself. Perhaps he wants to do it by killing Musashi. That's what I think, at least. I think it'll go that Motobe is ludicrously strong with weapons (as we've seen him to be), but Niten Ichiryuu is a no-sword martial art, which Motobe doesn't know, so he'll be beaten/killed by Musashi and then someone (most likely Baki) will stomp on Musashi's Niten Ichiryuu with their actual *fists*; indicating that the sword has not become the fist, but that the fist has always been greater than the sword. Something like that, I can almost draw it in my head.

You can't, because we haven't done them yet. At least, not most of them. This was my effort to appease both sides of the coin for now since we can't release any more chapters officially without Spiny (he's the webmaster), and Spiny is enjoying a leisurely vacation. He's got every right to do so, but probably shouldn't have done it right before the end of the volume (chapter 80). We also don't have cleans for v10 yet, so there's a major reason for no more releases yet.
If you wanna know what happens in between, I can tell you and give brief summaries or something, I just don't have the time to translate them all as I'm not the 'real' translator and a lot of them are very complicated with the vocab/references. C'est la vie.

I really, really want it to be; if only to see that sweet, spiraling murder machine in action again. I honestly have no idea how or who will beat Musashi. There's so many ways for Itagaki to potentially play it out. He could even justify Yuujiro kill-stealing him from Motobe at this point (Ã la Yanagi) if he seriously wanted it to happen.
Part of the problem is just how slow this manga really goes if you're reading it from week to week. It feels like we haven't seen either him or Baki in forever, despite it only having been like 20 chapters for Kaku. If it was monthly or something, I feel like we'd be able to get a better grip on the manga's direction.
Unrelated: once I'm done DLing all of the best quality raws from the garbage sites that they're on, I'll stick them all on mega for everybody. Quite a few of the volumes are better than the ones used by our project. Look at how smug Yuichiro looks here. That fucking knee area, though.

Musashi is holding it on one page, calling it scary, and then it's just not in his hand anymore. Musashi is saying that these weapons could be why there are fewer warriors today, something he's made poignant note of before. Let's say the sniper is Yuujiro now. Likely superior sniping ability and able to demolish anyone in *any* form of combat, should it come to it. The latter is better for "The Way" of the warrior. Does that make sense?
