We finished it back in early November, but a workflow fuckup lead to it never being published. I thought this was already out there, otherwise I would have talked to the group and gotten it taken care of MONTHS before now. Regardless, enjoy.
UPDATE ON TL PROGRESS: We're getting a band of /yys/ members together so we can finally get the translation effort moving along properly.
We have raws through volume 6 and the Story/Fan books. I also personally own physical copies of all of the books, all six BD volumes+BD BOX, and all of the CDs.
We have a new translator, Mittens, who's more proficient with JP than I am and works fast, but we need more. I'd especially love to find someone who can type up Japanese transcripts of episode commentaries and drama CDs, so those can be translated and subtitled. (I'm a proficient video editor, so these would be completed QUICKLY once TL is done.) We are also in serious need of cleaners who can do quality work, as well as typesetters if we find the right people. If you want to help, there's no commitment. Just drop in, we'll assign you stuff to do, and then drop out whenever you get bored. Reply here or tweet me if you're interested!

You won't hear me argue. I was sent the file, told it was going to be given a quick QC, and then it would go up. I got busy with school and never actually tried to read it on the site. Turns out the group leader has been MIA, and it was in limbo when I checked out the reader this week. Me and the typesetter/hoster went rouge, did QC ourselves, and released it.
Because of Bakkin being defunct (for now), I have splintered from them and formed JSB Translations. When Bakkin become active again, they'll continue working on YRYR, which has always been their primary focus.
29 is translated, and 28 will be there in hours, not days. Both have been assigned a cleaner/typesetter.

I love how the secondary group have their tsundere, kind character, and weirdo, but they're jealous/territorial, "developed"/motherly, and extremely low-energy in contrast with the primary group who are shy/standoffish, flat/child-like, and extremely high-energy (all respectively).
The characters in this show are simple, but perfect. If Mikami-sama teamed up with Azuma-sama, the perfect slice anime could be born.(Well, not to imply that Yuyushiki isn't already perfect...)

I'm really happy to finally have the truth about the potato joke out there. Fansubs and Sentai botched that conversation badly.
Granted, I wouldn't have done any better if I didn't have Masaki to point out puns for me. But you'd think Sentai would at least have a Japanese friend they could hit up on AIM or something for questions about that stuff...

Bakkin are on indefinite hiatus. Well, "effective hiatus". I can't announce anything officially, since it's not my group, but I haven't heard anything about any immediate plans to release stuff.
My new team, JSB Translations, have taken over the Yuyushiki manga. Bakkin will likely continue working on Yuru Yuri once they become active again.
