Hello Fernando and welcome! :))
As a seasoned anime otaku (Japanese for nerd XD), I would recommend the anime cartoons from the old Toonami block on Cartoon Network as a great starting point. Look into Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Wing, Inuyasha (this one is long :P), .hack/SIGN, and Ghost in the Shell. These are a bit more obscure than what you're used to but I guarantee you'll love them and whet your appetite for even more animated Japanese goodness!
