I'm 7 episodes into Phantom World and so farnothinghas happened. How can people like this show? It's almost as bad Amagi Brilliant Park.

I think most people don't like it to begin with. It's gorgeous, but the first half is really boring and the second is only sorta fun.
I just find it funny that they seriously went the individual-character-focused episodic format and yet the characters still suck.

I'm just too lazy to explain in detail why none of this is important. All this did was give a general outline of what phantom world did. Doesn't change the fact that none of it was interesting or actually well done. 90% of all the stuff mentioned in this image is the bare-bones you expect a coherent show to have. The rest exaggerates things that weren't actually that good.

Most god shows have always a big plot which is always somewhat relevant in each episode and the last few episodes are meant to be a big climax.
Not in this series you can literally watch the episodes without any order and you will miss nothing because it has no real plot.
Even character driven shows like durarara have at least one big plot.

Literally only watched it for the cute girls doing cute things and it wasn't worth it even then.
