The difference, I think, is how the real-life characters were unidimensional in both, but in the TV series, they tried to have them be complex and shit. And they weren't. Because Mari Okada is a hack, maybe one as big as Urobuchi.

PV framed it in a really unappealing way. I'm picky with historical shows, so when you set your trailer to contemporary j-rock and have the title overlaid on top of flames it doesn't really work for me. Nothing about the staff stands out. I dunno, I can't imagine myself liking it. Why are you interested in it? What else are you looking forward to?
Love Live is a nice show. It's fairly derivative but it's got a lot of heart and it's well-produced and fun to watch. New Game has great character designs, director and studio of Mikakunin (expect playful and bouncy animation) plus I work in an IT setting too.

I like I.G, they can sometimes disappoint but they always seem to try to tackle shows that have merit to it. Also, the fact it's based on an actual Novel that has won several literary prizes in Japan. The plot entices me with a subject like- a shady espionage training ring called “D Agency”. The twist? The spies are secretly being trained to act against the war-mongering of the Imperial military leadership
Other shows include Jojo, both Bones shows and Kabaneri. Jojo, because I have absolutely loved how David Productions is handling the adaption and adding their own unique art style to it. The other 3 are for animation purposes. From what I can gather all 3 are heavy on animation and I'm just interested to see what these animators can bring to the table. Will probably also watch Luluco for similar purposes but not expecting much from 7 minutes of material.

Plagiarism is what Urobuchi does. What Bakuon does is, it mocks k-on. Onsa is pretty much Yui, and they do let us know how retarded she is. And there's a bunch of shit pulled right from k-on, but to be made fun of.For example, Onsa names the bike she rides in the training track "bita", which apparently means prostitute - just like Yui called her guitar "guita". And the bike talks to her and teaches her how to properly ride - and her personality is that of an old tranny prostitute.
It's really, really fun.
