Well she is really close to Yui but she almost never interacts with the other girls. She seems to like Mio but when they actually are together they have nothing to talk about (besides yea we should practice right?). Azusa really never fit in with their group since she was a year younger. She had her own group of friends and her own class trips, whereas the other four were way more close knit both in and out of the club.

Azusa had good intentions but I think most of the dislike comes from her trying to turn the group into something that is not. HTT is a group of friends that happens to be a band too, not the other way around.
Azusa rejected the jazz club after consider that they weren't playing real jazz but there was something in HTT performance that captivated her but she couldn't figure out what was that something. She even admits that are many bands better but even if they are not the best playing and hanging out with them is always fun. If the keions were to become serious they would become better but they would lose that something she loves about them.

It was fantastic to see her slowly fall in love with the light music club, all leading up the emotional goodbye song in the last episode, which centered around her. Mio was much more of a shy character than a serious character (she always ended up going with the group's antics in the end), and having Asuza gave her room to relax. Asuza developed all of the original 4 girls since they now had taken on the role of senpai and grew accordingly. Ritsu and Yui becoming more dependable was motivated by their desire to keep the group together in college after Mio proposed the idea
