They get infected. Japs have ridiculously bad immune system. Do you want them to die from Japanese cold?

This, I got cuts and scratches and small bruises all the time in my childhood. The most I did was cover it up with a plaster. Nothing happened.
>don't fall asleep with the AC on or you'll get sick!
Fucking hell I can't sleep in a room warmer than like 65F

I had a pretty nasty infection from one of my broadhead blades shearing off inside a bear and cutting me while I was gutting it.
Should have went and gotten it stitched up probably but I was several hours from the nearest hospital.
It happens.
>>139363017
Usually has to be a decent sized cut or scrape and stay open a while to get infected, though you could just get unlucky.
>>139363165
I don't think the typical Anon guts bears generally, but that was mostly due to some kind of bug you caught from within it I reckon.
Also here's a better one:
>character gets a tiny cut
>Heroine sucks on it

>>139363326
>>139363350
Fuck off yurotrash.
>>139363017
based on my experiences, depends on the environment you're in
i've had bad infections from minor injuries and no infection from serious ones, the difference is that for the bad infections I was in a wet climate with a lot of wildlife and bacteria, while the other times where I didnt have an issue with large gashes I was in a relatively dryer area.
the phrase rub some dirt in it actually does have pretty solid roots, at least with dusty cowpokes, dry powdery soil draws moisture out the surface area, resulting in faster coagulation on minor wounds.
in the american civil war, sugar was used for this purpose as well, though honestly I'd say sugar should only be considered for coagulation in a dire situation, since I'm pretty sure that having sugar fermenting inside your wound to produce alcohol is a bad idea on principle, it's like.

Study infectious diseases, then come talk to me. Geriatrics and children are the #1 demographic for death by colds and flu.

Fan death exists anon

The original flu virus and the present flu virus are pretty much worlds apart from each other.
I would say that the Flu Virus is getting stronger these days like every year.
And with how easily it mutates, certain scientific research involving flu viruses are kinda "banned" or at least funding scrapped because of the negative public perception.
