ITT: little details you love
>new characters are added to the OP after they're introduced in the show
>natural sound effects and quirks that people make/have that you don't ever see in Western media
Just feels comfy and realistic.
>old characters are removed from the OP after they die
>last episode has no OP
I don't know why I like this so much
this was neat
>two characters have sex
>baby comes out

Missed the seiyuu thread, Rieshon.
>>139333188
>removing sato from the op for ep 11
Man i loved that
>>139333188
That was cool
>>139333168
>last episode has no OP
>main theme plays during the episode
>character development actually matters
>slice of life/CGDCT show
>details and events from one episode actually carry over to the next
>>139332609
>when the seiyuu laughs with their character
>>139332609
>Characters have a meter of sorts that fills up as they fight
>The OP shows how full everyone's meter currently is
>Awful things happen when it fills up
>show takes place over years
>characters visibly age at a gradual pace
>supportive bro character gets a girl
doesnt happen enough
>>139332609

Thank you based Doga Kobo.

Did Code Geass do this? I really don't remember. As far as I can recall the only OP change we had was from R1 to R2.

>new characters are added to the OP after they're introduced in the show
This should be fucking mandatory. I always skip the OP of the first three episodes of any given anime because they fucking spoil shit that hasn't been shown yet.
>>139334598
>>139335593
This happens so rarely and it is so good. Many anime do the three years of high school and no character ever changes.

Because you know you're getting 1 min and 30 seconds more that episode
>OP plays during sad scene

>show has a title which suddenly makes sense at the end of the series when you finally understand what it means

>OP is sung by the VAs
>soundtrack has motifs
>the adaptation emulates the source material's artstyle
>The change in the 2nd Heavy Object OP after the Ohoho reveal.
>>139332680
Like what?
realistic relaxed poses, and leg lifts.
>guitar player's hand are accurate to what music they're playing.
Still can't believe that the SISTERS hentai had the best guitar animation I've seen.
>school band plays the OP
>character nonchalantly hums the OP
It's great
>>139334072
This is the best
>>139335873
The OP changed at dramatically at least 3 times during R1. There were only two songs though.
>Lesbian couple gets a child
Realistic weight and momentum.

>that one episode of Shokugeki no Soma where the ED starts early as BGM and Soma and Erina start humming it

Convincing, not realistic. Square-cube law. Also, obviously not in the spirit of the thread.

>characters that blink

Super Japanese metaphors.

my little detail can't be this unloved!
>characters have more than one set of clothes
>>139344756
Lack of costume variety in naruto was very annoying
>>139339968
That anime really should have ended with them reconnecting and becoming a family again.
Her death and the time loop shit was bullshit.
Him marrying air vents would have been okay too but not really required.
>>139341726
Guess it's time for a rewatch.

>>139334313
>multiple episodes show the same day/event from different perspectives
>>139347130
It's been done to death but I love when they go through the same events twice (or more) from the different people's perspectives.
>>139347130
>multiple episodes show the same day over and over from the same perspective.
>>139339255
What anime does this?
>>139346829
Moments like this are why I don't get people who pretend Madoka is absolute shit. Like, sure, it's not anywhere near perfect, but nearly every single scene either Homura or Kyubey is in have this kind of thing going on.
It's just so well written in this regard. Everything is building up to the reveals the entire time, every one of them are absolutely justified and foreshadowed throughout the show, but so beautifully subtly that it's rather difficult to guess exactly what the reveals will be.
>>139332609
They also wore more than 1 set of clothes.
>>139347605
Its because everyone in that show is unlikeable, so nobody cares about the reveal or how they feel no matter how well written it is. That's why its absolute shit.
>when they put way more detail into the eye movements and expressions than they had to.
>>139347605
>>139347966
Really it's because it's not absolute shit. It's just decent. The characters were flat, the plot was arbitrary, and nothing felt grounded in any way so it was difficult to get invested. There were definitely good things about the show, but overall it makes it very difficult to connect with the characters or get invested in the story. The show was like 6/10 and the movie was like 7/10 because the characters had a little more going on (mostly blue and red).
>best girl wins.
>>139332609
>a boy is introduced into an all-girl cast
>he is added to the OP
there are people who don't skip the OP?

The only times it's acceptable to skip the OP is when it's by nano.Ripe, Ali project or Claris.
>>139351133
The only time it's acceptable to skip the OP is when you're on /a/.
>>139351133
Then how do you find the time to refresh and browse the catalog?
>>139352249
>OP starts before the OP sequence
The same with the ED is commonplace, but seeing it done with the OP is much rarer. I can only think of Symphogear S1/G, Infinite Ryvius andOOOoff the top of my head.
>>139347248
I bet you like the Tragedy of Bashtarle.

>>139333220
That's a hate crime.
Sex is meant to be casual entertainment one does with anyone (except white males, that's rape).
It's not meant to be done to perpetuate the species.
>>139332609
>little details you love
I just like the fact that they're not full of preachy progressive moralizing like so much western shit is nowadays.
>>139332609
Characters properly "lipsync" to the songs they sing
>>139356164
>like so much western shit is nowadays.
Is this a new meme or something?
I keep seeing it everywhere now.
>>139332609
>the animators went out of their way to provide a smoother framerate and more detailed short scene than they had to
>characters are dancing
>all the dances are slightly different and not just copy-pasted animations
>>139356164
>anime isn't preachy
Since fucking when? It's usually hamfisted about it too because it's targeting younger people.
Or do you mean it just doesn't preach directly about stuff that disrupts your safe space?
>>139339406
>event in the OP happens
>you notice that it was there the whole time
>>139344272
This is great. I really find it weird when a person stays exactly the same while being spoken too, and then on top of that takes about a whole second or two before they react. Makes them feel like they're hearing a language other than their own and they had to take a second to translate it in their head before they react.
>>139341915
Do you think that was I.G.'s influence? Because it reminds me of how labors moved in the two Patlabor movies they were involved with.
>Characters knowing their firearms
Even when panic firing here, Noa didn't try to cycle the mechanism after her last shot suggesting that she was counting and knew how many were in the magazine.
