I remember playing AA1 when I was like 10 and loving the organ-esque sound of Announce The Truth 2001. It was the first song of that sort I'd ever heard, so it holds a special place in my heart. But yeah, 2004 is just so much better structured. All that build up and then that crescendo right in the middle, unf. Best song in the entire franchise is still from AA1 though.

Actually, some who works in the localization team stated that Klavier (and Kristoph) aren't German. Klavier just happened to have studied in Germany for a while and that's why he has a bit of a German accent. They could have made it a hell of a lot more obvious though.

In addition to >>139335447 I don't think AAI1 sold that well outside of Japan and I don't think either Investigations games sold particularly well in Japan, so they probably thought it wasn't worth the effort and cost to translate and localize it. It's a shame since AAI2 is probably my favourite game in the series. At least the translation patch for it is top-notch.
