>go in expecting dumb but fun action series
>get a locked room mystery of all things, but in a fantasy setting + a simplistic but endearing enough main cast
>enjoy it more than expected
>ends on a (pretty lame) cliffhanger
>upon looking it up, discover that the LN sales were shit so Season 2 never
I'm never watching an LN-based anime ever again, fuck.Does Japan generally only like medieval fantasy when it's a "video game world" type setting nowadays or something?

I typically don't watch seasonal stuff though
as weird as this might sound I actually watch shit that's in my backlog
It's your fault for not doing the necessary research, you should know by now that LN adaptations rarely have satisfying endings.

Yeah it is totally my fault. Go figures that the one time I don't bother looking this shit up it's for a series with a "read the LNs" ending.
I mean, they did the cliffhanger at the end with full knowledge that an S2 wasn't going to happen though. That's what I'm more annoyed about.

it's the non-beta non-japan stuff that sells poor. there isn't an otaku in existence who can self insert into THE STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD.
Combined with the fact the bunny girl's a dog fucking traitor, and most of japan's manchildren didn't watch or buy it.

I hope you have learned a lesson, knowing the status of the original material is a very important part of managing your expectations for adaptations.
>1 volume
>1 FUCKING VOLUME
still have 5 more seasons worth of material to read OP.

Does this mean you go and stay go?
If yes, great plan.

Just read the LN's and remember to post Fremy.
