104 days to go
Early due to me apparently not being able to read my break schedule correctly.
You're my favorite anon, I want to properly tie up Chiri and do lewd things to her, etc

The fucking foreshadowing on this show was insane and no one fucking saw it coming. This guy is either a genius or some serious troll.
>>139303760
Bit of both, I think.

Thanks for these, by the way

Alright I'm gonna be dumb and say that I never got to finish the series, how does it end? We're they all dead in purgatory or something? I think I got about 8 volumes in or something
>>139311947
Graduation.
>>139311947
You sure you want to know?Last chance.Kafuka was dead all along. After getting hit by a car, her blood, organs, etc. were donated to 17 girls. As a result of her unusually high dopamine, at times one of the girls will act like Kafuka. It's the inverse of multiple personality syndrome, where one personality affects dozens of people.Anyway, Despair-sensei falls in love with Kafuka, and marries her. This means marrying all 17 of his female students, resulting in a constant flood of divorce papers and marriage papers. An epilogue shows that they have kids now, and will take into the harem any blood donor.
>>139312544
Don't forget about thegirls were possessed part and Sensei is an exorcist. That part is relatively important.
>>139312544
That...is perfect. It's the only way it could end now that I think about it. Fucking brilliant
>>139312544
You missed a part. It's revealed that the Itoshiki family does services for the dead, and Nozomu's job is to hold symbolic classes for students who killed themselves and were unable to graduate. The reason he constantly almost hangs himself t\is to bring himself closer to spirits.
>>139312592
Oh, yeah. Forgot about that. But that felt pushed in at the last second.
The first twist was foreshadowed when the series began.
>>139312592
That's wrong. Pic related explains it better.
>>139312682
So was this one. Did you not notice the era it showed on the calendars?
>>139312725
Isn't being aspirit proxy the same thing as being possessed though?
Can you explain it better then about the eras and shit?
>>139312792
No.Like Nozomu, they were close to the spirits because of their near-death experiences. They weren't possessed, they just had enough of a connection to the spirits that they would feel satisfied as having the girls as proxies graduate for them. For the other twist, off of the top of my head, there's also Nozomu's old fashioned clothing and the old buildings around town and the school.
>>139312917
I always wondered ifit was the girls who fell in love with sensei or if it was Kafuka or the spirits.
>>139312959
Probably just the first two
>>139312792
Also a page specifically referencing the calendar from the same chapter
I won't be able to make the thread tomorrow, so if someone can do it for me, I'd appreciate it.
>>139313572
I just didn't get how it related to the girls.
>>139315354
I don't know how it could be more straightforward, but I'll try.The story takes place in the Heisei era. The ghosts for whom the class is being held are from the Shouwa era. Because the class is being held for the sake of the ghosts and not for the living girls who are acting as proxies, they replace the calendars to show an era that has already passed. There are various other elements such as Nozomu's old fashioned way of dressing and the old style of buildings in the town that are also meant to help the ghosts feel like the class is for them so that when the proxies graduate, the ghosts will be at peace because they feel like they have finally graduated.
>>139304140
Thanks for the dump, anon.
>>139315839
Oh right. That really was obvious.
Do you know ifthis is really Meru's dad? I assumed it was actually a relative of the spirit who was thanking Meru for allowing the spirit to use her as a proxy.
>>139316464
Judging by this page, I'd say your assumption is probably right.
damn I need to start reading this.
Just watching the show left a lot of gaps in my knowledge.
