Rewatching this, I'm noticing a lot of QUALITY and poor animation. Still a fun watch although I found they left Knives too late into the show.

Yes. Personally, I found the first half slow but enjoyable so don't expect something perfect.

It's a very good show, it starts fun and light-hearted but around halfway if becomes more serious. Personally I prefer the second half. Trigun isn't for everyon but I enjoy it a lot.

Yes. The animation isn't the best and it's got an anime original ending, but overall it's pretty good. The movie is newer and slicker, but both have fantastic soundtracks.

Eh, it was ok imo, the show was much better. The fight at the end was the best part. Wolfwood got a lot of time in that though so, pretty sweet.

I've never heard anything either way, but that's what I figured. Not that it really matters, because you can fit it anywhere in between meeting Wolfwood and shit getting real, it works out okay.

I've never been lucky to find anything anime or manga related in a charity shop and I'm always checking to see what cheap books I can find.
Also started buying the Maximum manga last year and got up to around volume 12 and had to wait for the last couple volumes to be released in omnibus format

I check charity shops for vidya mostly. I've been lucky with a lot of finds. I remember around 8 years ago my mother came back with Part 2 of the Death Note manga she found in a charity shop which I probably still have on my shelf at home and a couple years before that she found an original Pokemon manga which I lost somewhere.
That boxset was the first anime related thing I found. I just finished watching Trigun as well so it was a nice odd coincidence. There isn't much manga these days, but there are comics.

Noticed that too, there's a lot more Capeshit comics being stocked in there but the only thing I've found from that section which has grabbed my eye are some 90s Valiant comics since I enjoy collecting them. Though last time I did see a .hack//Legend of the Twilight manga which I already, oh well at least the Amazon market place is a God send for grabbing cheap manga.

Pretty good, gives Knives more depth and why he does the things he does and why the Guns are so devoted to him, the art work is impossible to tell at times, especially during the action scenes which is really my only problem with it.
