It did pretty well in box office. Okada + Nagai seem still capable of performing magic.
Its nice movie.
But it will be shattered, erased and forgotten by release of KnK movie.

story is way too simple for a movie and tries a bit too hard to be dramatic so that it feels more movie-like

it's like magic realism-ish. a little girl was very talkative and used to always say everything without thinking. she discovered her father cheating with another woman. she didn't really understand so she non-nonchalantly told her mother. her parents fought a lot and got divorced, her mother got very angsty. she blamed herself. suddenly a fairy shaped like an egg appears in front of her and she wished that her words are taken away so she doesn't hurt anyone anymore. so know she can't speak without feeling a lot of pain. and the movie is about her overcoming the curse as she is cast as the lead in a musical (even if she can't speak she can sing) and making up her mother etc.
It seems okay. Pretty much overshadowed and doomed to be forgotten because of all the other good movies last year and this year.

I really liked it. Saw it in theatres and bought the OST a while back. Glad to see someone else interested, as I thought is had disappeared into obscurity
I strangely almost always love anime movies that are their own story but barely love movies that are a sequel to an anime tv series.
